While we were in Cebu, Mica and I stayed for 3D and 2N at the Hotel Elizabeth. It was actually my first time to stay there, so I was really excited when we had the chance to stay at the hotel.
One of the things that I immediately noticed upon entering the door its its chandelier. The crystals are just so lovely. And all the chismis regarding the hotel has been confirmed! The Hotel Elizabeth was actually designed by the celebrity extraordinaire Tessa Prieto Valdez
Tessa Prieto Valdez has been known in the showbiz and fashion industry for wearing flamboyant dresses. And it is very evident in the hotel details.
It is the fine details of the hotel that really made its impression. Just like the beautifully crafted frames for the mirror, the elegant lamp shades, the cutesy little tiles on front desk and the elevator, etc.
When we were in Cebu we stayed at the Deluxe room. Each room has the standard amenities like cable TV, telephone, a fast Internet access, ref, etc.
The room is pretty wide. there’s bath tub. hot and cold shower. Theres also a desk where you can do your office work.
The rooms were designed with Mediterranean motiff, so don’t be surprised to see frames with photos from Greece, Italy, or France hanged on the wall.
The desk has been our favorite spot as our laptops were virtually glued to this area. Our room also has a nice view of the mountains and the tall buildings along Archbishop Reyes Avenue.
Comfy pillows, and blankets. Perfect for a good night’s sleep.
The breakfast buffet is superb. There’s a wide selection of breakfast to choose from. There are cereals, breads and rice. Thre’s also coffee and juice. I always love to start my day with corn flakes and fresh milk!
One of the things that I love about this hotel is its proximity to the shopping malls. It it just a walking distance from the Gaisano Metro and Ayala shopping Center. It’s a five (5) minutes, or even less, taxi ride going to the IT Park.
Both IT Park and Ayala has been known for several local restaurants offering delectable delights.
During our stay, the hotel was actually celebrating its first year anniversary in Cebu. Hotel Elizabeth Cebu has become a favorite among business travelers, for conferences and functions. Its Flora Café and Piano bar is currently a sought after venue for meetings and coffee.
The hotel indeed lives up to its tag line “An Experience on its Own.”
To know more about the hotel, log on to their website . Many thanks to The Hotel Elizabeth for the complimentary 3D/2N stay.
