March 16, 2012 – Sooo Pinoy Food Tour Day 5 in Boracay – Previous Post : Astoria’s White Café.
It’s past 11 o’clock and already time for lunch when we gathered in Ka-on Restaurant located at the rooftop of Tides Resort Boracay.
Crispy Spareribs Adobo
They prepared Crispy Spareribs Adobo and Grilled Boneless Bangus Steak for us. After the photo shoot, Chef Fernando Sontonsidad presented the dishes that he prepared for us.
Boneless Bangus Steak
Crispy Spareribs Adobo was made from tender baby backribs layered in between fried eggplants and fried Saba and garnished with Petchay, diced riped mango and tomatoes.
Pandan and Almond Jelly
Grilled Boneless Bangus Steak made from locally grown Bangus served with lemongrass sauce garnished with carrots and singkamas on the side. Their Grilled Bangus is served with kalabasa rice with grean peas garnish.
