Western Batangas (Taal town and Batangas) 2-Day Solo DIY Itinerary

Day 5

• 6:30pm – Arrived in Batangas Port

• Shared Tricycle ride to Bayan – P120 (overcharged!)
• Told tricycle driver to drop me in a cheap lodge
• Dropped me off Avenue Pension II along Cuta Road (approx 2 blocks) from the Plaza/Basilica

• 8:00pm – Check-in at Avenue Pension II (fan room with double ben and private TB) – P350 for 12 hours
• 1 hour at the internet café – P20
• Withdraw P3000 at Landbank
• Dinner at McDo – P100 (double mcsavers combo)
• 1.5L H2O at 7/11 – P36

Day 6

• Ride jeep to SM
• Ride jeep to Capitol
• Visit tourism information office
• Ride “Lemery Jeep” to Taal – P38
• Visit tourism information
• Check-in at Casa Punzalan – P600 (twin beds, shared TB)
• Sleep till 4:00pm Taal all the way to Lemery
• Dinner at McDo (free WiFi)

Day 7

• 10:00PM – Woke-up

• Asked for hot water for the instant cup noodles
• 11:30PM – Check-out
• Jeepney ride to Lemery (jeepney station just at the corner of Hotel Punzalan) – P8
• Drop off at corner going to Calaca jeepney route

• Jeepney ride to Calaca (jeepney station infront of Caltex near the church) – P22

• Drop off at the palengke (should have dropped off at the new municipal hall)

• Tricycle ride to church – P10

• Calaca Church
• Tricycle ride to “Balayan” jeepney station
• Jeepney ride to Balayan – P15
• Drop off at Balayan Church

• Walk to Calatagan jeepney station (near Jollibee; facing Jollibee entrance, take the fork road to the right, a few meters away is the parking area of Calatagan-bound jeeps along the right side of the road)

• Jeepney ride to Calagan – P40
• Drop off at Calatagan Church
• Tricycle ride to Calatagan Lighthouse / Parola – P300
• Ride same tricycle back to Bayan
• Drop off infront of the Church (already missed the last trip of the bus going to Manila; bus terminal at the Palengke)
• Ride jeepney to Liam – P38
• 5:20PM – Ride AC Bus to Manila – P152
