4 Reasons To Visit Southern California

Southern California has long been a sought after destination for travelers and vacationers. If you don’t know the reason why, you’ve probably never been to Los Angeles or San Diego. Here’s a reminder of four reasons to travel to So Cal:

With over 300 days of sunshine, some of the most legendary beach towns in the world, and great Los Angeles and San Diego beach hotels in Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice and Pacific Beach, southern California is an ideal place to surf, play volleyball, or just get a tan.

National parks and beautiful trails. There’s more to the outdoors than just playing on a beach though, which is another reason why southern California is an ideal travel destination. Experience the joy of nature and hiking by visiting incredible National Parks, including Death Valley National Park, Joshua Tree, Mojave Natural Preserve, Muir Woods National Monument, and the Santa Monica Mountains. Additionally, the legendary Yosemite National Park is only a short drive away.

Cultural landmarks and places to have fun. Beyond just the glitz and glamor of Hollywood, Southern California is full of cultural treasures, monuments, and places to have a blast. Take in a concert at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, go studio-hopping at movie studios and learn the history of early Hollywood, have some laughs at world-famous comedy clubs, see some of the biggest acts in music at the Hollywood Bowl, Gibson Amphitheater or the Greek Theater, or have the time of your life at Disneyland. The options are near endless.

Sports mecca. Southern California has a legion of exciting sports venues. Go see a baseball game at Dodger stadium nestled in the Echo Park trees, Angel Stadium in Anaheim, or at PETCO park in San Diego.
