Our fourth restaurant stop during our Iloilo Food Trip is Floyd’s Famous BBQ at the Ayala Technohub. When I learned that we will be visiting a BBQ restaurant, I really thought that we will be in an open air restaurant with a grilling station all over the place.
Chicken Inasal
This time its different, you wont smell BBQ smoke at all and just like their sister restaurant Green Mango, Floyd’s food is sooo affordable. I also like their Moringa Linguine Pasta – Its a fresh way to serve Pasta since we are accustomed seing pasta in either white or red sauce. The pasta is not only yummy, its also healthy since Moringa leaves is known to be rich in Vitamin A, C, Calcium, iron and phosphorus.
Crispy Pata
Their Pork Barbeque is a bit sweet and is definitely my favorite, much like my Pork BBQ recipe I always make sure to put brown sugar on the marinade just to have just right amount of sweetness.
Moringa Pasta
Most of us are used to eating oily and greasy Chicken Inasal thinking the more oil we see on the plate, the more it tastes good. Floyd’s version is now definitely on my Chicken Inasal Map, I love the fact that they were able to serve it with minimal oil without sacrificing the taste.
Pork BBQ
If you are in Iloilo and you want to really pig-out with your family and friends but you want to avoid breaking your bank, then head to Floyd’s and tryout their Crispy Pata, BBQ and Pasta. I heard they also serve the best grilled squid and Bibingka for dessert:)
